Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Andrea B. O'Connor is a Professor of Nursing at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT where she teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. She was previously Director of the Department of Nursing before returning to a full-time faculty role. Dr. O'Connor has held previous appointments as Associate Professor of Nursing Education at Teachers College-Columbia University, New York, NY, and as Associate Editor of the American Journal of Nursing. She is currently on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Nursing Education and the Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing. In addition to degrees in nursing and nursing education, Dr. O'Connor holds the Juris Doctorate and is licensed as an attorney in Connecticut and New York.
