Appropriate for beginning to intermediate networking courses. This text is NOT Cisco specific. An illustrated look at the systems that make up today's networks brings novice networking students an easy to learn overview of Networking.
Cisco Networking Simplified serves as an introduction to a broad range of networking technologies, providing an overview of topics and teaching their relevance to individuals, business, and the Internet. By using a simple illustrated storytelling approach, the book provides students new to networking, as well as more advanced networking students and professionals, with a reference to networking concepts. With an approach that answers, "How does it work?" students gather an understanding of a concepts purpose, application, and impact on a network or an organization. Using insightful, full-color illustrations to explain complex network applications, students can walk away with a newfound understanding of a variety of cutting-edge network applications and concepts. With coverage to a depth that helps students understand how important a technology can be and how difficult or easy it will be to implement that technology, Cisco Networking Simplified is an excellent primer for a novice and a useful reference for a more advanced student.
