The liturgical season called “ordinary time” consists mostly of the weeks between Easter and the beginning of Advent. Amy Plantinga Pauw is Henry P. Mobley Jr. Professor of Doctrinal Theology at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. Her previous books include a commentary on Proverbs and Ecclesiastes and The Supreme Harmony of All: The Trinitarian Theology of Jonathan Edwards.
