God has put light in you. Are you giving it to others? Christians believe they have received the light of Christ by grace, through faith (John 8:12; 12:36). But what does this mean, and what difference does it make in everyday life? In The Christ-Light, award-winning author Pierce Taylor Hibbs answers those questions with Scripture, poetry, and prayer. Tracing the theme of light throughout the Bible, he tells the story of God's mysterious love and its potent effect on those who believe. In these pages, readers will find not only biblical theology, but passionate reflection and encouragement, pointing them toward a life of self-giving for others, empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Christ-Light helps us glimpse the beauty of Christian community, rooted in and stretching towards the light of God's love in Christ Jesus.
