Simplicity is represented as a perspective of a poet in this poetry collection entitled "Chorus of Simplicity and Other New Poems." The opening poem is titled Blood and Ground. It signifies the era of war going on in the world. Philosophy and personal expressions has played a major role in this poetry collection. Moreover, the poet has tried to universalize the personal by giving voice to matters of public concern. Nature is also a part of this collection because Nature is where we exist. "Failure isn't a signal to give up" says the poet. He drives the motivational vehicle in this poetry collection. Dreams and freedom also make up a theme because humans cannot remain devoid of hope. The poet writes " I am not only a history/ But a deep worshipper of my present time." He is trying to be contemporary in nature. There is also a poem on Charles Bukowski in this collection. The poet finds Bukowski very pragmatic as he delves into poetry written by Charles Bukowski. The poet further writes "The mad rush of civilization / Cannot abstain the essence of nature." The poet has highlighted nature as a major concern in this modern world. This is a global concern. Furthermore, the poet says "Outside my window/ There is a natural sunset/ Your painting is just an imitation." This signifies the importance of Mother Nature. The originality of the subject lies in nature and rest is just an imitation; we learn from nature. Learning from nature should be the priority. The poet is concerned about that like a championing activist, through words.
