The Chomskyan Turn

Noam Chomsky's work has profoundly influenced current thinking on the mind and language. This volume contains two new papers by Chomsky and assesses the "Chomskyan turn" in linguistic and cognitive sciences. The essays by Chomsky review the current state of the generative enterprise, and present his functional approach to principles of universal grammar.
