Jacqueline Briggs Martin is the author of the Caldecott Medal winner, Snowflake Bentley. Chef Roy Choi is part of her award-winning “Food Heroes” series, which she co-wrote with June Jo Lee. They also co-authored Sandor Katz and the Tiny Wild. Jacqueline's other "Food Heroes" books include Farmer Will Allen and the Growing Table, Alice Waters and the Trip to Delicious, , and most recently Farmer Eva's Green Garden Life, picture book biographies on people who work to grow better communities through food. She is also co-founder of publisher READERS to EATERS, promoting food literacy with stories about our diverse food cultures.
