Hardcover with unclipped dust jacket that still shows the original price of $3.95 on the front flap. Stated first edition on the copyright page. The DJ shows considerable wear with chips/scuffs/small tears, scuffs and creases, mainly along the edges. Paper and cloth boards underneath are clean with only minor spotting and edge wear. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no remainder marks, no handwriting or underlining. The text pages are clean but both the front and rear end pages and pastedowns show a lot of foxing, which was caused by reacting with the dust jacket paper over the many decades. Artikel-Nr. 2240127
