"Just when you expect Peevy to zig, she zags, guiding you into a wondrous world of haunted wagons, demonic therapists, alien cows, and familiar figures from mythology. Peevy has seamlessly woven the horrific with the bizarre to create an exciting tapestry of stellar short stories." -Elaine Pascale, author of The Solstice In Cemetery Tacos and Other Delights there are themes of love, loss, grief, and injustice avenged. Nora B. Peevy introduces you to Moth Girl in "Cemetery Tacos on Wednesday," while in "Bury Him by the River" a group of college students murder an innocent man and must cover up their crime..and face the consequences. Bad children are punished with witchcraft in "The Telling Place," and in "A Taste of Murder," a young female highjacker takes a ride from a serial killer. Finally, in "Carnivorous Cows from Outer Space," alien cows plot to eat the human race and claim Planet Earth for themselves. By turns dark, whimsical, and heart-wrenching, Cemetery Tacos and Other Delights is a clever and thought-provoking exploration of what it means to be human, even in other forms. "...a mix of fluidity, strong characterization and concise detail that makes the story come to life." -Jerry Blaze, author of Cold Woods
