CHOOSING FORGIVENESS. Dieser Artikel ist nicht verfügbar.CHOOSING FORGIVENESS

Sin and forgiveness are not exciting or happy issues to think about, and most people try to avoid dealing with them whenever possible. John and Paula Sandford explain how ego and pride are involved in hurtful situations and how, in the world's eyes, it would be natural to seek revenge. But unforgiveness and sin have a way of keeping us in a constant state of chaos and trouble. Sin isolates us from each other and from God, but forgiveness is the antidote to sin. Forgiveness is a crucial and pivotal element to spiritual and personal growth. If you want to be happy, to be healthy, and to grow in relationships with others, forgiveness is not an option; it is a necessity.

JOHN LOREN SANDFORD graduated from theological seminary with a master of divinity in religion. He pastored churches for twenty-one years before founding Elijah House.

PAULA SANDFORD was active in the churches and also taught English and Spanish in the public high school for several years. She was a part of the ministry of Elijah House from its beginning and was ordained in 1995.
