Brandon Flesher's third collection of poetry, Broken Windows, spans two decades of one man's journey through the darkest corners of the human experience, giving readers an emotional landscape of internal struggle, profound loss, and hard-won resilience. In his poetry, Flesher confronts the fears we bury deep inside, the weight of choices that haunt us, and the delusions we cling to for comfort. The collection's heart pulses most powerfully around poems of grief-aching tributes to a beloved lost too soon, where memory becomes both sanctuary and knife edge. Yet amid the pain, Flesher discovers what holds us together: the fierce dedication of enduring love, the courage to face uncomfortable truths, and the quiet defiance of carrying life's burden without being crushed by it.

Brandon Flesher was born in Shawnee Mission, Kansas City, Kansas, and raised in Moline, Illinois. After receiving his paramedic license and working briefly as a paramedic, he moved from the hot and humid Gulf Coast of Alabama to the other extreme of the weather spectrum in Minnesota, where he currently lives with his dog.Brandon wasn't inspired to write poetry until arriving in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but his love of reading began at an early age with stories like King Arthur and His Knight of the Round Table as well as the plays of Shakespeare. He regards Goethe, Nietzsche, and Kierkegaard to be among his biggest writing influences.
