British Army: A Pocket Guide 2006-2007

Once again, the British Army Pocket Guide 2005-2006 will be a comprehensive guide to the organization, equipment and tactics of today's British Army. This latest edition will incorporate the detail of all of the December 2004 army reorganization and regimental amalgamations plus details of major systems and equipment introduced in the past five years.A new chapter will provide an account of British Army operations in the 2003 Gulf War and the subsequent military operations in support of coalition operations in Iraq. Other new items will detail Defence Medical Services and the future 'Intelligent Battlefield'.This will be the 9th Edition of the British Army Pocket Guide, a publication that first appeared in 1984, and a publication that has become the accepted reference source on the British Army for the UK and foreign military, the world media and interested civilians.
