“Nonstop action, with escapades both perilous and amusing, and exhilarating hairsbreadth escapes.” Kirkus Reviews

“Intriguing characters, foreshadowing, and suspense…” Wayne Thomas Batson, bestselling author, The Door Within Trilogy

One of the most awarded children’s books, Britfield & The Lost Crown is as enchanting as it is thrilling.

Some secrets are too big to stay hidden.

Behind the cruel walls of Weatherly Orphanage, owned by the Grievouses, lies a world that is inconceivable to most. Tom and the other orphans, locked up and slaving away, have one thing in common: No one is coming to save them.

But one word turns everything on its head: Britfield.

Tom finds out that his file at Weatherly may hold a life-changing secret. His parents might still be alive! Together with his best friend Sarah, and armed with only the word "Britfield" as a clue to Tom's mysterious past, the two make a daring escape.

Soon, they are on the run by foot, train, and hot air balloon, from a famous Scotland Yard detective and the entire police force in England! The hunt is on, but will Tom and Sarah evade capture long enough to solve an even bigger conspiracy that would tear the country apart?

A celebration of courage, friendship, and adventure, Britfield and The Lost Crown is an instant classic that takes young readers on an epic quest filled with humor, warmth, intrigue, and page-turning escapades.

The Britfield Series, a combination of C.S. Lewis and Dan Brown, is ideal for pre-teens, YA fans, and readers of all ages, and provides stunning historical and geographical detail to enrich the reading experience.
