Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
John Aubrey (1626 - 97), was born into a prominent family and developed contacts within the literary, artistic, theatrical and scientific circles of his day. His wide-ranging interests included folklore, antiquities and history. He is chiefly remembered for BRIEF LIVES.
John Buchanan-Brown is an editor, bibliographer and translator who has written numerous articles on Aubrey.
Michael Hunter is Professor of History at Birkbeck College, University of London.
