This textbook is the elementary level of Boya Chinese, which is suitable for the very beginners. Based on the principle of integrating structure, context with function, life of students is mainly concerned, including daily life on campus and so on, which can be convenient for students to put what they have learned into practice. The part of Chinese phonetics can be used alone for the very beginners. This book is consisted of two volumes; there are 55 lessons and 11 lessons. There are five lessons in each unit, the fifth lesson is to summarize and review, without new language points added. More than 1200 words are selected in this book, which are mostly the first-degree words of the Syllabus of Chinese Words; most of the first-degree language points of the Syllabus of Chinese Words are covered as well. After studying the two volumes, level 3 of HSK can be expected to reach.
