The Black Clover Book

Monolith City is flooding and Freddie Freeman wants to know why. No one in the city acknowledges the flood despite Freeman trying to warn people. Mayor Oaks concerns himself with a lost AI technology, the Ghost, to keep order. Instead of keeping on message, the Ghost broadcasts deepfakes that turn citizens into zombies. Freeman discovers Oaks harnessed the Black Clover, a secret society, to resurrect the AI. Freeman meets members of the society and together they confront both the Mayor and the Ghost while the waters rise.
