Inhaltsangabe: What is ten-year-old Martha to do when her brother disappears on a rocking horse turned into a real horse? Set in rural southern Wisconsin, Beyond the Enchanted Bridge is Martha's account of her journey into Scarecrow Land, where past blends with present. She meets unconventional characters; learns to draw upon inner strengths to overcome obstacles; and, at day's end, encounters the strangest twist, one that fulfills her wish for a fuller family life. The story is told in verse with the author's photographs.
