Olli Leeb (1919-2017), lebte und arbeitete in München. Als Mutter von sechs Kindern, vielfache Großmutter und Urgroßmutter gründete sie Ende der 70er Jahre den Kochbuchverlag Olli Leeb. Ihr war wichtig, dass die Rezepte in ihren Kochbüchern langjährig erprobt, gesund, einfach und ohne ein zu viel an Zutaten zu kochen waren und einfach gut schmecken. Viele Ihrer kulinarischen Kniffe sind über Generationen erprobt. Sie erhielt die Silbermedaille der Gastronomischen Akademie Deutschland, war Verlegerin und eine „weithin berühmte Kochbuchautorin“ (SZ) zugleich. Meist aufwendig und liebevoll illustriert und oft mit durchsichtigen Schutzklappen, die die Seiten beim Kochen schützen (ihr eigenes Patent), ausgestattet, so sind die Bücher bis heute. Sie war – nicht zuletzt mit Ihrem Leben selbst – eine Jahrhundertköchin, die uns die traditionelle „Großmutters Küche“ erhalten hat.
