Basic Nepali Phrase Book & Dictionary (Nepali language)

Basic Nepali Phrase Book & Dictionary is written to help those readers who come to Nepal for short period of time and who have no time to take a Nepali language class. Because of the inspiration of my students and well-wishers I have written this book, which I hope will fulfill the needs of the reader and will make their travelling, shopping and sightseeing more enjoyable. This book is written in English, Roman and Nepali script. This book conveniently presents greetings and introductions; phrases used to check into hotels; and common conversations needed in restaurants, shopping and medical centers. It also contains examples of conversations with the taxi drivers, cook, guards, barbers, health personnel, bus drivers, etc.

The dictionary included in this book is sorted in two ways: the English alphabet and the Nepali alphabet, besides that, the book contains a grammar section, introduction to Nepalese culture, and information on some important temples and places. It is pocket size book, which includes information on recommended hotels, health clinic, shops, cargo & trekking office. It also contains important contact numbers of the hospitals, tourist police unit, telecommunications, embassies and INGOs.
