Education has been universally acknowledged as a single tool to eradicate poverty around the globe. In so doing, it needs to be proportionally reformed and updated to the current level of the global ideal of sustainable development. In this light, the united nations, its education agencies and related stakeholders maintain the introduction of Artificial Intelligence in education (AIED) to serve the current skills needed to achieve the predetermined sustainable development goals. Notwithstanding the existing identified challenges against the smooth implementation of AIED in most of low developed and some of middle developed countries like inadequate technological infrastructure, and teachers' digital skills as well as some gaps described in ethical aspects of AIED like humanity, privacy, accountability, and transparency among others, there are various prospects of AIED already put in place across the globe guarantying a hope that AIED remains a real and possible project. In this specific instance, adaptive learning platforms, advanced data analytic platforms, investment in AIED, as well as an introduction of AIED in school curriculum at different levels and subjects are noted.
