Inhaltsangabe:

Why should you buy and read this book? Simply put, it outlines a trading approach based on ideas that have worked for over 100 years. Some of it is from books and articles written before the First World War. This worked before computers were invented, before people had cars, and in the case of candlestick charting, before guns were invented. This still works. As a radio host I also get access to the best traders who let me know their best indicators and practices. Frankly, I test what they propose and add what works to my system. Like an onion, each chapter in this book will reveal another layer of a total system that can feed you for life. How is it done? I first need to point out that the tools of my trade (and what I hang my hat on) involve the continually evolving science of technical analysis, not to mention sound judgment and money management. In contrast to fundamental analysis which focuses on the financial and business welfare of a particular entity, market, or economy, technical analysis offers predictions on future price movements based on different angles, interpretations, patterns and permutations on historical price and volume movements belonging to the trading activity of an individual stock or commodity, group of stocks or an overall market. I basically focus all my energy on looking at price and volume movements and look to those variables to give me road signs for future price movements. Where is this instrument (or market) headed based on the way it has traded in the past? I get an understanding of what an equity is doing now, and what it may do in the future.I don t pay much attention to Company XYZ s business model, past and future earnings and revenues, management, etc. I will, however, pay attention to reported let s make some money! 7 insider trading activity, which demonstrates owners and managers conviction and faith in their own enterprise (are they getting in or are they getting out?). Other than that, price and volume are in my opinion where it s at! And if there are clear signals, I take steps to take advantage of those signals and set up a trade, provided the risk/ reward scenarios are favorable.I also employ risk management strategies to my trading, such as utilizing Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and Exchange Traded Notes (ETNs) as well as share sizing and basic common sense, such as not putting all my eggs into one basket.
