"He needed killing." Certainly none deserved it more than David Leigh. Question was, could Amelia, his wife of many years, commit murder and get away with it in the small coastal town of Beaufort, SC where only the dog, Lucy, is true to form. Everyone else harbors secrets, especially the local preacher's kid turned hairdresser, the suicidal neighbors and the athletic looking home health nurse.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
According to first time novelist, Sharon E. McGee, "No one could have asked for a more interesting and varied life. Ms McGee served in the US Navy as a surgical technician and worked in New Delhi, India as an x-ray technologist. Taking time out to earn her Ed.S in Psychology she taught as an adjunct professor in Naples, Italy. On returning to the States she worked as an addictions specialist for Beaufort County before accepting a job as a school psychologist from which she retired in 1998. A self-taught stained glass artist, two of her works are on display, one at The Chocolate Tree and the other, at Anderson Funeral Home in Beaufort, SC, where the story takes place. Both sites figure largely in Anybody's Guess.
