"Dem Andenken Meiner Lieben Eltern" is a poignant and personal work by the Benedictine monk and esteemed missiologist P. Thomas Ohm. This volume serves as a dedicated tribute to the author's parents, weaving together themes of filial piety, faith, and the monastic vocation. As a member of the Order of Saint Benedict, Ohm brings a deeply spiritual perspective to this commemorative writing, offering readers an intimate glimpse into the values and familial bonds that shaped his life and distinguished scholarly career.

The text functions as more than a private memoir; it is a reflection on the intersection of family heritage and religious devotion. Ohm, who became a leading figure in the study of Christian missions, demonstrates in these pages the foundational influence of his upbringing on his spiritual development. This work stands as a significant testament to the traditions of the Catholic Church in early 20th-century Germany, capturing the essence of a life committed to God and the honoring of one's lineage.
