Horace Blackwater was an agent of horror, the best in the business in fact. Agents of horror are like talent scouts, they search for the next 'big scare' or anything terrifying or horrific that might become popular in spooky culture. With a tiny push he's ready for his grand return from retirement and his daughter Terra jumps at the chance to join him. A zoomer's insight might be what he needs to find the next big scare. Hilarity will ensue as they leave no stone unturned.

C.J. Lawson was born in Walnut Creek, California, and his family moved to Utah when he was a teenager where he still resides. It was there that he discovered his passion for writing from a friend and fellow writer. He wrote his first novel in eighth grade before attending high school. While there, he was an active member of the National Speech and Debate Association. He has received multiple awards and recognitions related to comedic short stories he has written over the years (including one certificate with Elmo on it for some reason). He is currently a student again, but is holding out hope that this time he will be done with school. He has worked professionally and as a volunteer in several programs helping individuals with autism and Down syndrome.
