A charming book for children under 5 with a strong Shropshire setting, this has the feel of a Beatrix Potter meets Dr Suess with wonderful colour illustrations supporting the rhythmic prose.
It’s Toggle and Tarka to the rescue!
Toggle and Tarka live in an old Georgian house in the Shropshire countryside as adorable companions to the venerable Mrs Parker. Toggle is a sensible black Labrador. Tarka, is an adventurous cocker spaniel who is full of life.
Join the duo as they embark on many adventures together, as they help those around them, make life better for people and animals alike while getting into scrapes and having a lot of fun along the way.
