ALTER EGO is non-fiction poetry and verse that laughs and cries from reflecting on the irony of free existence. Originally influenced by Maya Angelou and Lord Byron, the dominant themes in Levi's work are psychology, biographies, existentialism, romance, and the elusiveness of time. Being a San Francisco psychotherapist for 36 yrs. gives one a perspective like no other for getting inside the heads and understanding the alter egos of sub-cultures. As we watch others scaling the mountain of purpose and meaning, we take comfort in reading their experience of dramas and ecstasy. Each one of us searches for truth in our own manner within our own understanding; as it should be. So, please join us in this journey of discovery as we make friends with new ALTER EGOS.
