Daniel Schumacher received a Bachelor of Arts from the College of William and Mary, where the student newspaper sparked his passion for publishing. In the time that followed, he honed his craft at award-winning publications including Food Arts, Gourmet, Cottage Living, and Birmingham Magazine. As editorial director of Louisiana Cookin' and Taste of the South magazines, he has spent years immersed in the rich traditions of Southern cuisine, traveling throughout the region and bringing its vibrant food cultures to readers across the country. Daniel Schumacher currently resides in New Orleans, Louisiana.
