George Rollins (b.1944, BFA Cornell 1967) is an artist, designer, builder, and cabinet maker, and community organizer. He spent the majority of his adult life living and working in a five-story former coffee and spice factory, which he converted to artists' studios, in what is now known as the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles. He has since relocated to the northwest corner of the Great Sonoran Desert with his wife, and enjoys drinking a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. The Air in the Room: LSD, William Burroughs & Scientology is his first book.
