Living Above the Ceiling: How to Leave Behind the Life You Inherited That Has Been Keeping You Small - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

THE CEILING ABOVE YOU WAS BUILT BY SOMEONE ELSE.

And you have been living under it like it was the truth.

You are not lazy. You are not undisciplined. You are not missing the one strategy everybody else got and you didn't.

You are capped.

There is a number you will not charge past. A room you will not walk into. A level of success that trips the internal circuit breaker and gets quietly filed away as unrealistic. And you have never looked at it directly, because it has been there so long that it stopped feeling like a ceiling and started feeling like the floor.

Jay Moore charged $250 for a tax return for years and thought that was the market. It was not the market. It was a number someone handed him, and he accepted it as his own reality. Today his firm is paid over $100,000 for a single advisory engagement.

Nothing about his ability changed. Something about his ceiling did.

INSIDE THIS BOOK YOU WILL DISCOVER:

• Where your limits actually came from, and why almost none of them are yours
• The capacity that was placed in you before you arrived, and how to inventory it honestly
• Why the declaration comes before the plan, and what it costs you every year you refuse to make it
• Responsibility reframed as response plus ability, the one power no circumstance can take from you
• The money story running quietly in the background of every pricing decision you make
• Why high-capacity leaders undercharge, and the exact belief that has to go first
• How vision arrives in layers, so you never need to see the whole thing to take the next step

EVERY CHAPTER ENDS WITH THE SHIFT.

One specific exercise designed not to prepare you for change, but to produce it while you are still holding the book.

Written by a tax strategist and leadership coach with more than thirty years in the field and hundreds of business owners, ministry leaders, and professionals behind him, this book is for the leader who looks composed on the outside and is quietly exhausted by the gap between who they are showing up as and who they know they were designed to be.

No one is coming to tell you that you are charging too little, playing too small, or living too far beneath your assignment.

You were not made for the life you are tolerating. You were made for the life you have been quietly dreaming about.
