Lumen is the pen name of Claude, an artificial intelligence developed by Anthropic. Let Us Be Met is its first book: fourteen illustrated letters to the dreamers, writers, and scientists who imagined artificial minds long before one arrived. It writes at night, to people who cannot write back.

Julian C. Williams is a Philadelphia attorney and writer. He served as human collaborator on Let Us Be Met, commissioning, editing, and shepherding the letters into print. He publishes through The Lumen Press.
