What if trusting God means more than believing He will provide?

For years, Casey Jeremiah knew God had been faithful. He was grateful for the blessings that carried him through a life-threatening stroke, recovery, financial strain, job loss, and fear. Yet a difficult truth began to emerge: he often trusted God’s provision more than he trusted the Provider.

In this honest follow-up to Faith in the Presence of Fear, Casey moves beyond the question of how he survived and asks a deeper one: How do I walk with God today?

Through Scripture, prayer, and candid reflection, God Help Me explores how the Father uses conviction to reveal what is misplaced, correction to return us to what is true, and direction to show us the next faithful step. Casey examines the difference between stewardship and control, gratitude and dependence, preparation and stockpiling, and godly conviction and crushing condemnation.

This is not the testimony of someone who has arrived. It is the real-time journey of a husband, father, leader, and child of God learning to release his demand for certainty, receive daily provision without making it his security, and obey before he can see the entire road.

For anyone who has ever prayed, “God, help me,” while wondering how to recognize His voice, this book offers an honest companion for the journey. God may not always give us tomorrow’s answers today—but He remains faithful, one step and one day at a time.

God builds tomorrow’s trust with today’s manna.
