Kye Anderson is the founder and former CEO of Medical Graphics Corporation (MGC), which she built from her dining room table into a publicly traded NASDAQ company and a global standard in cardiopulmonary diagnostic technology. The breath-by-breath metabolic measurement system she developed enabled the heart transplant threshold still embedded in international medical guidelines today and is now being used to understand Long COVID through cardiopulmonary exercise testing. After relinquishing control of MGC, Anderson founded eMed to bring cardiopulmonary diagnostics online for primary care and Medforma to apply prevention-based diagnostic technology to population health. Her conviction throughout her career has been that early detection upstream is more humane and more economical than crisis intervention downstream - that the most important work in healthcare happens before disease takes hold. She is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in High Tech Medical and a Harvard Business Review First Person author. She lives in Minnesota.
