Jim Addison is a Literacy Leadership Coach in Wisconsin who partners with teachers and school leaders to strengthen literacy instruction. While much of his writing is academic as he completes his doctorate in Reading Science at Mount St. Joseph University, Jim has always had a deep love for picture books. He believed teachers deserved one of their own through a story that captures the heart, dedication, and quiet impact of their work. Drawing from his years as a classroom teacher and his daily experiences coaching educators, Jim set out to honor the selfless, behind-the-scenes moments that shape students' lives in lasting ways. Elementary Teachers: This One Is for You is his first picture book, with more in the series to come.

Tanya Tokar is an illustrator from Ukraine who has been drawing for as long as she can remember. Over time, what began as a hobby has grown into her life's work. She works across several artistic styles and enjoys experimenting with form, color, and mood. In her illustrations, Tanya strives to create images that naturally complement the text, enrich the story's atmosphere, and help readers feel more deeply connected to it. She most cherishes the moments when her art brings joy and becomes part of a world readers want to return to again and again.
