Grumpy the Iguana, Green Parrot, Mr. Squirrel and Little Mouse are enjoying a picnic in the park when Little Mouse decides to walk over to the dock to look at the fish swimming in the Marina. But instead of seeing fish, he sees a whale! Or is it? Little Mouse runs back to the picnic to tell his friends about what he saw, which turns out not to be a whale, but a young manatee named Baby. Growing Up is Hard To Do (part 2) is the continuation of Baby's story, in which she is learning how to find her way in this great big world on her own.
