Is love finally coming into focus?

Ava Garcia-Greene, a Fortune 5 CEO, has it all–power, prestige, and a swanky office in Silicon Beach. But beneath her icy exterior lies a heart yearning for something money can't buy.

Jo Fisher, a GLAAD-card-carrying, carabiner-clipping, out-and-proud lesbian, is barely keeping her late father’s photo truck afloat in the queer haven of Harmony Springs, Michigan, where her love life is more Silent Night than Joy to the World.

When Ava’s AI Christmas card generator incites controversy, Jo’s heated call into a radio show leads Ava’s board to an ultimatum: save Jo’s business by Christmas or lose her corporate crown.

As they team up, Ava unexpectedly falls for Jo’s disarming sincerity, while Jo is cautiously intrigued by the pull she feels toward the supposedly straight Ava. With their careers on the line and Christmas around the corner, can their spark ignite a holiday miracle?

Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Rena Sapon-White is a Los Angeles-based author and filmmaker. A Dartmouth Film graduate, she has directed award-winning documentaries and produced festival favorites like Summer '03 (2018) and ONLY (2019). She has also produced several made-for-TV holiday rom-coms, including the upcoming Lifetime Original, Christmas on the Alpaca Farm (2024). Her debut novel, The Christmas Pic, combines her story-crafting expertise with her passion for exploring queer themes and complex characters. When she's not behind the camera or keyboard, Rena can be found exploring California's wild landscapes with her dog or jumping into the ocean to encounter its myriad sea creatures.

Ella Schaefer is a writer and dog mom originally from Niceville, FL--Yep, real place. Ella's brain trends toward wildly imaginative premises grounded in the reality of funny, f'ed-up female protagonists who are failing to flourish (She also loves alliteration). She has recently partnered with Reel One Entertainment and Fireside Pictures to write TV rom-coms. After work, you can find her reading her own low-performing tweets or watching tennis even though she's literally never played a day in her life.
