JamesalanM (James Massengill) was born a long time ago in the southwest United States. He grew up in and loves the high desert and piñon tree covered mountains. With that background, he has found a love of writing children's adventures adapted to both the desert fauna and flora and beautiful mountain landscapes intermixed with a bit of magic. Adventures of the Red Cat-Eye Marble, Finding the Marble, is his first book venture with Adventures Two and Three in the pipeline. You can expect more to see from James, as he has a feel-good story about Swallows in a home-based Day Care and a magic story with an old bottle and young female heroine set in the upper Gila mountains of southwestern NM. All his books are written for children to expand their imaginations and acquaint them with the natural beauty of the southwestern United States. In his spare time, he helps with his wife's home day care operation and is an amateur photographer chasing sunsets and unusual sights in the southwest, for a future photo album.
