Mona Oakheart follows one of her starlets to Guam to bring her home, and walks into something far more dangerous than she left behind in San Diego. Meanwhile Gary Reines discovers smuggled Vietnamese children in the surf off the California coast, and the two events begin pulling lives apart in ways neither of them expected.
In Deep and Far Out is the second book in The Oakheart Trilogy, a story that moves between 1970s San Diego and the island of Guam, written by someone who served as Attorney General for the Territory and knows the territory from the inside.
