Earth is dying. An alien spacecraft is coming. And only one man has seen it before it arrives.
An Environmental Climate Change First‑Contact Thriller of NASA Science, Alien Invasion, and AI Gone Wrong
In this environmental climate change fiction thriller, Tim Smith gains unexpected psychic abilities after discovering a mysterious space rock during a summer camp hike. The experience propels him into a career as a NASA astrophysicist, where he uncovers an exoplanet called Terra Nova—and foresees an alien threat approaching Earth.
When a massive alien mothership—its artificial intelligence corrupted by dark matter—emerges from the Kuiper Belt, it launches a devastating assault on a world already weakened by pollution and climate collapse. What follows is a gripping science fiction adventure book that blends first contact alien invasion novel tension with the wonder of space exploration NASA sci‑fi.
Tim, his wife Peggy, and a small group of survivors retreat to a bioshelter, relying on Tim’s visions to outmaneuver the invaders. But when they discover that the mothership holds technology capable of restoring Earth, the mission shifts. To save humanity, they must reset the ship’s AI to its original peaceful directives: no harm to humans and assist in cleansing Earth of pollution.
Danger From Space delivers the suspense of an artificial intelligence sci‑fi thriller while offering the uplifting spirit of clean science fiction for adults and teens. It’s a story of survival, unity, and hope—one that challenges us to confront our environmental reality and imagine a better future.

A sci-fi with a strong dose of compassion for living things, known and unknown, and a love for humanity and its survival.
"Danger From Space silently queries whether humans deserve punishment for their ancestors’ sins. Suitable for young adults and older, the novel intellectually entertains. Science fiction lovers and AI supporters will relish the excitement of discovery and the passion for pursuing ideas when others do not believe in intelligent life aside from humans. The architecturally minded may marvel at the bioshelter’s detailed, internal structure and the realistic description inside the spacecraft, but what appears predictable is not at all: a Greene stylemark."

A Marvelous Science Fiction Novel
“Although I had not read a science fiction novel in many years, from the first few pages, I knew that I was going to love this novel. Jay creates a world of incredible machines, which all struck me as very possible. He also gives us believable characters with normal emotions, as well as extra psychic abilities.

Hooked Me
Danger From Space is a fast-paced sci-fi adventure that hooked me right from the first chapter. Tim and Peggy felt very real, and I loved how their relationship grounded the story even as the stakes got bigger and bigger. The alien AI threat was tense and believable, but what surprised me most was the hopeful side of the book, the idea that alien technology could actually help humanity heal a planet already struggling with climate change.
This is the kind of sci-fi I enjoy most: action, danger, and big ideas, but also a lot of heart. Fans of classic space adventure with a modern twist will really enjoy this one.
