Inhaltsangabe

Everyone has heard the classic excuse: "The dog ate my homework."

But this time... it might actually be true.

After accidentally spilling a sweet fruity drink on their homework, a child hangs the sticky paper out to dry before bedtime. During the night, Homer-the curious family hound-catches a whiff of something delicious and discovers the sugary homework sheet sitting on a stool.

By morning, the paper has mysteriously vanished... replaced by chewed scraps on the floor and a very guilty-looking dog.

When the story is told at school, the teacher pieces together what really happened and responds with humor, kindness, and a clever solution.

Told in playful rhyme and filled with warmth and gentle humor, Homer Our Hound Ate My Homework brings the famous childhood excuse to life in a way that young readers will instantly recognize.

Perfect for classrooms, bedtime reading, and early readers who love funny animal stories.
