Maiden of Storms (The Conspiracy of Crows Trilogy, Band 2) - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

The news of the Olde Ridgewatch Massacre ripples across the city-states of Vineland. Newspapers write disturbing details of the Holy Imperium soldier’s attack on unarmed commoners outside a tavern. Whispers of treason linger in secret meetings as commoners and nobles gossip about illicit books and read subversive pamphlets.

Prince Damon moves forward with his Triumphant Masquerade to celebrate his loosely affiliated holdings in the city-states of Vineland while rumors of a storm grow west of the Blightbriar Mountains.

An expeditionary force investigates a burnt-down manor, and the Bastards of Liberty move towards revenge and rebellion, gathering merchants, slavers, and commoners to their cause, hoping a document of paper unifies them against the choking gripe of a sovereign bent on domination.

The Maiden arises.
