Daniel L. Root is the son of David E. Root, MD, MPH, the world-renowned Occupational Medicine expert in human detoxification using niacin, exercise, and sauna. Together they wrote the definitive book on the safest, most effective, and clinically proven method to reduce bioaccumulated drug residues, heavy metals, hazardous chemicals, radiation, and persistent organic pollutants including dioxins, PCBs, DDT and other pesticides from fat tissues. To overcome his addiction to cocaine, Daniel underwent the original detoxification program in 1986. His outcome was so phenomenal that he devoted his life to advancing it with two key priorities in mind, 1) reducing the time commitment from five hours a day down to two, and 2) enhancing the efficacy as well as the overall experience. In 2017, the Roots opened Detoxination Wellness Centers, and began administering their revised program to the public. Building upon their successes, the Root's are now developing the franchise model and training others to deliver their unique detoxification protocol. Daniel Root was the co-host of a weekly radio program, The Get Detoxinated! Show, on KSAC 105.5 FM, and is the admin of the Sauna Detoxification Using Niacin Facebook group.
