Slowly, I Grow is the culmination of three years of thoughts, ideas, and emotions. Love, Beauty, Grief, Solace, Prayer, Healing, Awe, Anger, Anxiety, Despair, Depression, Hope, Faith, and Joy are all words that could be used to describe the themes of these poems. Questions about myself, the world, or why bad things happen to good people, are questions asked as I explore different ways to convey my feelings or thoughts. These moments of reflection often take place in nature as I find refuge in its beauty and its ability to allow my mind to find its spiritual roots. Nature's beauty is there whenever we take the time to look and I tried to capture its ever-changing moods in words that fill your heart and mind with joy. I hope you will find my journey reflects your journey at some point in your life, and you will come back to your favorites whenever you feel a reason to do so.
