About The Author: Hailey Steimel was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on September 9th, 1996. Hailey received her heart transplant in 2014, and she graduated from Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids the following year. She received her bachelor's degree in communications from Upper Iowa University in 2020, and plans to continue promoting organ donation awareness! In her free time, Hailey enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her pets. She also loves volunteering, shopping, traveling, and writing books!
