This book gives a first-hand account of my experience of contesting legislative assembly election in India. It engages the reader with a narration of the sequence of events that a contesting candidate had to undergo from submission of nomination till the date of polling. The book also elaborates on the technical and operational features of electronic voting machine including data security. As an offshoot, it suggests some guidelines for a healthy and peaceful living. Finally, the mechanism of vote counting had been explained and how the number of votes is not just a number was unfolded in the end.
