History Untold: An Ordeal of the Sikhs in J and K - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

A glimpse into the largely unknown history of the sacrifices of Sikhs from Jammu and Kashmir. Unsung heroes of this persecuted community, the saviours of Kashmir fought relentlessly with utmost valour and lost both lives and property during the brutal Kabali raids.

Their sacrifices remain forgotten and hardly acknowledged, yet the Sikhs of Kashmir have shown remarkable resilience, standing as true torchbearers of the composite culture of Jammu and Kashmir. They upheld the values of Kashmiriyat and nationalism amid chaos and visceral violence since Independence.

This book offers a glimpse into the genocide of Sikhs in Jammu and Kashmir-an episode that remains scarcely documented.
