Born in Mount Hope, West Virginia. Deborah began writing in her early twenties. As an avid reader, she always wanted to write. So, she started putting her thoughts on paper. She first started journaling, then wrote short stories and poems, and joined a writer's group, which published ""Laughter through the Years with Family Folklore."" Deborah married her high school sweetheart, Richard. They had one son, Michael, and later were blessed with two grandsons, Tyler and Bryan. She spends her winters in Florida to avoid the cold Ohio chill and write.
