Jay W. Rose is a first-generation immigrant who was born and raised in Laguna, Philippines. In 2011, she moved to the United States to live with her family. Jay is the oldest of three daughters. In 2023, Jay married her high school sweetheart and is currently residing in Pennsylvania with their three cats (Gracie, Sage, and Oliver). Jay graduated in 2020 from Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a major in dual education and human services, with a concentration in disability studies. Jay currently works as a case manager for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. During the pandemic, Jay started writing poetry and self-published a poetry book in 2021 entitled, Things I Can't Say Out Loud: The Trauma.
