William is a young boy who has been abused by his single mother since birth. At an early age, she abandons him with her family in Rawlings, WA. She is not happy when she discovers that her aunt and uncle gain custody of William, and causes trouble, but finally relents. This is a story about a young boy who has to learn to love and trust and have confidence in himself.

Judith Perkins was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. After years of working in retail and insurance, she and her husband retired to travel around the United States in their motorhome. They have the distinction of being in all the lower 48 states. They now make their home in Tacoma, WA. Judy is active in her local Kiwanis Club, serving the children of her community.
