This book, Observations: Visual and Poetic, is a follow-up on my previous book Musings in Haiku, where I expressed thoughts and reflections on my surroundings. I now include my visual art creations in paintings, sculpture, drawing, stained glass, and mosaic done over the years. Added to the visuals, I include my longer poems, which express my thoughts on nature, existence, and human relationships. All life is a vibrant existence for the one who has a keen awareness of one's surroundings, whether animate or inanimate. There are worlds to observe if we have eyes to see and ears to hear, and later reflect in solitude.
