Verna Simpkins is an ordained minister, pastoral counselor, and board-certified chaplain whose passion is to help others discover their God-given purpose and to walk in victory. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from SUNY at Cortland and Master of Arts degrees in Health Education (Teacher's College, Columbia University) and Pastoral Care and Counseling (New York Theological Seminary). She was married to her beloved husband and pastor, Rev. Dr. Ronald Simpkins for thirty-eight years. They co-labored at the Freewheel Baptist Church in Jamaica, New York for twenty-three years. They were blessed with two children and six grandchildren. She is semi-retired and resides in Queens, New York. Her motto is: "Nothing shall separate me from the love of God."
